This Is Our Story

Steve started working for Embers Custom Fireplace around 2012.  After learning more about the industry, he decided to make a career out of hearth products.  He got certified by the National Fire Institute as a Gas Specialist in 2018.  He got certified as a Wood Specialist in 2019.  He is currently studying for his Pellet certification which would make him a Master Hearth Professional.

Steve started The Fireplace Doctor in January of 2020 in order to provide excellent after-hours service to Northeast Ohioans leading up to and during peak heating season when wait times at area hearth stores may be extremely long
